City Airlines started 1997 by Lars Magnusson, owner of the STS company in Sweden. Flight operations started 2001-09-10 from Gotherburg. In 2006 City started coop with SAS. In April 2010 Lars Magnusson sold the company to teh m,anaging director Jimmy Bergqvist and three other in the managment team. 2011-04-29 City was bought by Skyways. 2012-05-21 Skyways and also City Airlines was put into bankrupcy.
