This wing elonged to the legendary SAS pilot, Capt Povl Jensen. He and his crew , incl the chief pilot and the chief navigator of SAS flew on November 15th, 1954 at 19:18 OY-KMI ¨Helge Viking¨a DC-6B from Copenhagen on the first commercial flight over the North Poleas SK93. The first segment crewd by Cpt. Povl Jensen was to Winnipeg where a crew change took place for the continuation to Los Angeles.The total travelling time from CPH to LAX was 27 hours 15 minutes and the aircraft landed in LAX with just 3 minutes delay.
