Scanair Airbus A300-B4, NO-REG. SAS ordered four A300 to be operated on heavy intra Scandinavian routes as well to London and Frankfurt. First was delivered 1980. When Jan Carlzon transformed the Airline to focus on Businessmans Airline the A300 was assessed to big and isntead the strategy should be to have more frequencies to meet the businessmans demand. After three years in SAS 3 of the A300 was leased to Scanair. During 1983 SAS also decided to introduce a New Corporate Identity including a new color sceme. Scanair did the same copying the SAS color scheme but with orange stripes in stead of the three Scandinavian colors. The two first ones LN-RCA and SE-DFK was delivered 1983 in SAS old color scheme but with the Scanair logo on the tail. Later in 1983 both were repainted in the new c/s.
