Scandinavian Airlines System, Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas, SK-SAS. This is an early Osgaard DC-7C with the unusual Dragon Head in the nose part. Observe the Dragon Head starts above the cockpit window. This was not the case on the real aircrafts. Later DC-7C models the Dragon Head starts in line with the cockpit windows. Also the three flags in the back of the fueselage is put with two above and one under. Later versions had the flags in a row. Also this model has metal props which was later changed to plastic on the models. The rare all-metal base was probably used for models presented to VIP. Normally it had a wooden base.
This model belonged to Åke Liljeberg, legendary SAS Captain.
