This is a rare model of the prototype Saab 32 Lansen, 32-1 Röd Urban. The most significant diiferens from production aircraft is the engine air intake. The prototype was equipped with a Rolls Royce Avon RA-2 engine with no afterburner. The development work started autum 1950 and finalized summer 1952. The first flight with 32-1 was November 3rd,1952. Problem occured with the air flow to the engine and the air intake was shortly after the test flight modified. After a long test period the prototype 32-1 was scrapped January 22nd, 1959.
