Scanair, Airbus A300-B2, LN-RCA,Snorre Viking, c/n 079. This aircraft was leased from SAS during 830325 until 871024. With Jan Carlzon new policy to create Businessman Airline SAS decided to dispose the A300 from their fleet and instead use smaller aircraft and add more frequencies to fit the businessmans demand.Jan Carlzon introduced a New Corportae Identity for SAS 1983. The old color scheme with the dragon head disappeared and a new with stripes introduced. LN-RCA was delivered to Scanair in the old SAS dragonhead color scheme but with Scanair and the Sun on the tail. Quickly after SAS Scanair also changed to an own identity similar to the SAS but with orange stripes on the aircraft. LN-RCA was soon after deivery to Scanair repainted in the new identity.
